Need a piece of advice over here

Well hello community i have some issues that start worrying me.....The temperatures are starting to raise and by that i mean like 41-42 Celsius which is 107 Fahrenheit....Since i ordered 2 780's in sli and the board is an asus maximus vi hero so there wont be much space between the cards i am not sure how to keep everything cool.....

Do you suggest me to do a custom loop? i just want everything to be cool

if you are concerned about your components getting damaged, dont worry, they wont.

Personal Build Project "Rained-On"

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

And if they overheat?

IF they overheat, they would shut down or throttle them selves. but with 40°C on idle, you are far away from overheating. anything up to 85°C under load is just fine.

watercooling is never really required to run a system at its rated specs. I'd say stay on air.

Where are you that temps are that hot right now? And as other have said, if you did manage to over heat they'd shut down and even before that they would start throttling before overheating.

A custom loop is always the best option once your case can fit the needed parts.

As long as the cards try to stay under 85C (I think) they should be okay. And you can always put one in the top slot, and one in the bottom or second-to-bottom slot so that they have some breathing room.
