new buffalo router doesnt go the distance!

Really, I just want to get WiFi on my back deck.... Bright house modem gets one bar if I sit right by the door, got a Buffalo WZR-600DHP and it does no better! The video review shows it reaching to the other end of the warehouse. Mine is like 59 ft! Open concept house,no real walls to go through. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you tried getting a directional antenna?

 

Also, a Wireless Access point may be another step that you may have to take if it's really bad.

I don't think you can replace these antenna. Access point, would that be like a booster?
