Cell Phone-photography!

Some people love taking photos, and not always with a camera. So this topic is just for mobile photography.

Pictures from tablets, phones, iPods, your dads blackberry.

Well, anything that has a camera.

Follow a few basic rules in order to have a legitimate entry:

  • Must be taken with a mobile device
  • You may use any phone lenses for things like macro photos
  • filters use is yet to be decided
  • Can be taken in either portrait for landscape mode
  • Must be forum appropriate, pictures can be taken of anything, as long as they are appropriate.
  • DO NOT quote other photo's, use the mentioning format (@UserNameGoesHere)
  • Have fun and use constructive criticism if needed
  • List the device you took the photo with!
  • Give the photo a quick description of the subject(s)

With that I will start with the first photo(s)! I am unsure why it's showing up small, but I will try to fix it, for now just click on it :D

LightGlass

Just a simple closeup of a path-light in my front yard, I didn't think it turned out that bad!

Is improving photos in post allowed (like slightly bumping up the brightness + contrast and downscaling the image to make it smaller)?

Here's some pics:

Downscaled and contrast + brightness bumped up slightly.

Every pic was shot with a POS Samsung Galaxy XCover 2's camera. And in case you didn't see it already, I like shooting panoramas.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

On a bright day any (phone) camera takes good photos. When it gets a bit darker, say late evening, no luck shooting with XCover 2's camera. So slow shutter speed.

No I don't kill bugs too often roaches being an exception I happen to like spiders so I left it alone. That is a wolf spider not to toxic but has one hell of a bite from what I hear.

First pic just had to be of my PC .. And yes that is a GT640 below the dual 7850s

And since it's a workphone i have some pics of my work.

Then there is a funny one. The store name is ICA Supermarket. Supermarket without the letters U,R,K,E and T = Sperma

I had only popped the bag down on the floor. I did not do anything with it. It just spelled it out. And yes. It means precisely what you think it means
943592_10200370021512218_925390778_n_zps

And when i was on the way home from work (delivering papers at night) I was greeted with this view
