Is this monitor good

all the connections you would even need? check

 

i think this will be a great monitor (dont have any experience with it tho, but i cant imagine it being bad)

It looks like its got a slow response time, i dont know how or whether that would affect gaming, assuming you do actually game.

It looks like its got a slow response time, i dont know how or whether that would affect gaming, assuming you do actually game. 

Practially no diffrence to a 5 ms or even a 2ms GtG.

I just bought the 23" version P2314H, I have used them for a total of one day. So far no complaints :)

Im going to use it for gaming

 

if you are gonna play FPS you could try perhaps check out the BenQ XL2411Z.

The one you have now is good enough for gaming but you will not regret taking a huge step up to the BenQ as it is 144Hz, Flicker free, motion blur reduction. and many more features.

it is design specially for gaming ( FPS ).

 

right now i am using a samsung syncmaster 60Hz. pretty standard monitor but i am currently looking at the BenQ for a replacement.

 

EDIT: You could also wait for Nvidia G-Sync to come out.
