In ears aren't very good for gaming

Steelseries Flux Pro?

Not $70, and not so great even if they were.

Soundmagic E10 are pretty good I hear. Another option is JBL J33.

Gotta get the E10M for the mic - I'd recommend it for sound quality.  :)

These are the IEMs I use: JVC HAFXD80-Z

For IEMs under $70 I would look at Japanese imports, I go mine with for >$84(CDN) with one week shipping.

As for reviews I was convinced by this; Youtube video review. He doesn't review for gameing but does a better job  then me.

well, IEM's just plain can't have the same soundstage and positioning as full sized's of the same quality.

Why not?

Why not?

Because from an engineering standpoint it's difficult to create the illusion of space inside such a tiny unit that's INSIDE your ear.

And it's easy with a tiny unit that's on your ear?

A bit, and some headphones aren't tiny

Still tiny compared to a loudspeaker. Overall I'm not clear on how a slightly less tiny speaker creates a wider 'soundstage' than an IEM.

Yeah, and a bike is small compared to an SUV, but that doesn't make a unicycle any less stupid.

At this point it's clear you don't actually have an argument or explanation. I think we're done.

I thought that made sense, it's a spectrum, just because headphones are smaller than loudspeakers doesn't make a difference because IEMs are still smaller than headphones.

well thats why I said "of the same quality," basically meaning that you can find IEMs with better soundstage than some headphones, but you can also find headphones that can't be matched by any IEMs of the price.

I think you should lay off. There's nothing wrong with IEMs.

I think you're slightly confused.
