Linux XBMC on Chromebox

So ASUS has their new little ChromeBox thingy. Can i format the SSD and install XBMC directly as like Linux

xbmc-buntu should work fine

The built in little i3 probably wouldnt like SteamOS and playing games would it?

it would still work fine as a HTPC most likely
