no need for the 1TB SSD

*cough *cough @xxMichael

michael has one, so i get one too.  :(  I actually do need it though, it will dual boot mavericks osx and w8.1 as well as store all my .RAW files and 4K video files. plus all the recordings of gameplay, livestreams, voiceover, trust me, it can get filled up pretty fast.

The 4TB is just for backups and storage. think harder.

you dont need speed for storing videos, maybe the exceptions of 4K videos

Get a 500GB SSD and use the saved money for an extra 4TB drive or 2 for some kind of raid array. If you got dual 780s instead of dual 780TI's you could probably be able to get a total of 4 4TB drives and use them in a Raid 5 or 10 array for all dat high speed storage. Also, get a Xeon E3 1230 v3 as it is basically a 4770k without the integrated graphics.

go dual 780s, the $500 more for dual 780 tis is NOT worth it. Get a 500gb SSD instead of 1TB, or go 1tb ssd and no hdd.

i second this^

I agree. Two 780ti's not worth it.

I third the motion

I use my veto! Won't the performance increase help me?  (Remember I'm trying to push 1440p ultra and 4k high hopefully) Maybe get a 500gb ssd and get two titan blacks instead? The 6GB seems like it would help a lot...

Not $500 performance increase. Both gpus are 3gb vram useable. VRAM does not stack. 6gb VRAM versions of the 780 AND 780 ti are suppose to come soon. Titan blacks have extra things you don't need for gaming, the 6gb VRAM would help, but as 780 6gb vrams are suppose to come out really soon, it is still not worth the extra money for 780 tis or titan blacks.

it would help but it is a bit unnecessary  two 780's can defiantly handle 1440p and maybe it could handle 4k but 2000$ on gpus is just plain not smart imo

I use a single 780 3GB and get well over 60 FPS average at 1440P. It's not worth it, get two 6GB 780s when they release from EVGA.

Dual 780s CRUSH a Titan Black.

So... two 780's or ONE titan black?

two 780s... Titan black is a 780 ti with 6gb vram and some extra things for video editing/rendering I believee. The 780 6gb should come out really soon and you'll be able to trade in your 780 3gb for a 780 6gb when they come out. They're suppose to be the same price as the current 780.

Ultra 2x AA

At 1440P AA makes no difference in most games. With AA it drops around 5-10 FPS.

wow. so what frames would I get with 2-780ti's at 1440p with 2x AA then?

120 or more?!
