Minecraft account recovery

I have the urge to play minecraft again, but as I'm trying to recover my details I come to realise that the email I used for Mojang was deleted which is not the end, so I tried doing a question recovery but I've forgotten the answers. However, I  have proof of ownership through a paypal payment sent. Is there a way to get my account back with this? What type of query/forum would I need to go on through their site.

You'd probably have to contact support, though they may well be on holiday over Easter.
