Logitech G710+ keycaps

bcredeur97

Hey guys I was wondering where I could find some keycaps that match the ones already on the logitech G710+. I have two keys that are broken, the Esc key and the - key on the number pad.

I have heard about people complaining about the weakness of the keycaps on this keyboard, but logitech does not offer replacements. Any ideas on where I can get these keys at for cheap I would like to retain the default look if possible. But I wouldn't mind the Esc key being orange or something since it's seperate from the rest of the keys.

Please keep it cheap if possible. Don't have a lot of money at the moment.

I never thought I would be paying for keyboard maintanence lol

are you saying logitech doesn't offer replacements because they don't sell them or because their CS rejected you?

Broken keycaps? Would you mind giving more details about that? Honestly I have never seen or had any broken or "cracked" keycaps on any of my keyboards including the cheapest Logitech membrane keyboard on the market (the Logitech K-whatever, I don't remember the number). I also don't really understand what could cause it if such problem really exists unless you have a defective product. I mean it's only for typing, and you must be one hell of a typer to break a keycap.

About your keycaps replacement, correct me if I'm wrong, but afaik the Logitech G710+ uses standard sized keycaps, so basically any keycaps from any other companies that are made specifically for any Cherry-MX switches should fit your G710+. I believe Ducky has keycaps for their backlit mechanical keyboards, Maxkeyboards also has translucent keycaps which looks more awesome imo (my favorite is the black translucent keycaps).

The keycaps on this keyboard do break, in fact there is an entire logitech forum post of the keycaps breaking under normal use, and unless you hit the very center of the key every time they will eventually break. http://forums.logitech.com/t5/G-Series-Gaming-Keyboards/G710-broken-keys-from-normal-use-plastic-tops-Where-to-get/td-p/1075449?nobounce

I will have to check out those replacement keycaps, I hope they aren't too expensive. The translucent ones do sound cool :)
