Windows and my now dissolved RAID array acting wonky.

Tried it via diskpart?

(Open a CMD as admin)

 

Diskpart

list disk

select disk #  (# beaing the drive that you want)

clean

exit

exit

 

then try to format it again.

Hey guys.

 

So, I have 2 1TB Seagate Barracudas which were until recently in a RAID 0. I decided to take them out of a RAID 0 through my motherboard's on-board RAID controller. Now that I did that, there is a bit of an issue. Neither of the drives are working properly.

This is what I get when I try to initialize Disk D. When I do the same to Disk E, it asks me to format (but I haven't done so yet)

And while Disk D registers as the right capacity, Disk E is registering as the capacity of the now dissolved array. Help!

You may have to resort to a format to get them working again, they still think they are part of the RAID array and as such windows thinks its corrupted or foreign.

And I am completely unable to format the E Drive.
