Period red

Wink

I think i may have used too much red, period.

Period red is an apt name. lol

I have a can of silver i might redo the entire thing, or make silver lines as accents patterns.

what do you think?

Dude that looks awesome, just imagine it with all the components on top. The red will be less dominant.

It is up to you though, personally i wouldn't add a whole lot of details to the mobo, a single color scheme is good, more than one color on the shield will look odd. /opinion

It won't be as bad once you get all the components together and break it up. Looks good; at least it matches!

You forgot to take off the tape that covers where it says ROG

exactly. now like it does on my M6F you will have no red led lit ROG logo  :(

i mean it looks really good... even in my green build lol

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only a GTX 1080, just a single 1080, where my glorious PC once stood....

About the tape. I knew I done messed up after the entire process. The plastidip cured the tape as part of the paint job. If I rip it off, it will come off too. I know I can remove it with an exactoknife. But then I thought I could count this as a learning process and start over

So I am contemplating redoing the entire thing in aluminium silver. Or just adding silver accents.

Let you all know what's up tmr.

Stock cooler is on just to test the component for faults before I start going all crayola on their asses

Also thanks for the encouragement!!!

Like people have said in this thread. With all the components in it it might look good.
Personally i'd spray the recessed grooves and stuff on it with either black or silver. To add more details :)

Like others said, when you get the rest of the components and wires, etc in here it will hide quite a bit of the red.

Did the board come with the PCIe covers? Could paint them silver or something for the slots you wont be using.

before I start going all crayola on their asses

Thank you for making my day.

Okay, so i told you guys how i messed up on the painting and bonded the protective tape to the paint job. so when i rip it off, it would pull the paint off with it.

this time, i used tape and an elevated cover for the led protection.

alu silver now. what do you think? the layer of red is going back on today!
