E-mail providers : gandi.net & hover.com

So I decided to download Mozilla Thunderbird as a mail client. When I start it up it asks me if I want to register a new e-mail adress. The choices are : "gandi.net" & "hover.com".

Are these e-mail providers worth it? How about the privacy?  Do you have any experiences with them? Just tell me about it, if they aren't that good, could you suggest some other e-mail providers. I don't really like gmail anymore, I want some more privacy.

Or should I host my own mail server? How should I go about doing that?

Feel free to leave suggestions on what I should do, or how you have your e-mail set up.

Thank you.

your isp usually gives you like 5, maybe try that?

Mh yes, but is then my isp will have access to all my e-mails. What is the safest way to use e-mail without companies having access to my e-mail?

if you want real privacy make your own email server

haha your ISP technically has access to EVERYTHING you do online lol what are you trying to hide? no matter what email client you use a "company" will always have "access"

Edit: there you go, qwertwarrior has answered your question.

Sadly, it is the truth.
