Here we go again ...

I saw somewhere it told me to turn on vsync for the game in Nvidia control panel and then have it off in the game. 

I hope this works.

No wonder they gave Dead Space away for free. This is absolute torture. The over the shoulder view is horrible and no matter what I do with mouse controls it just feels laggy and clunky. This would have been a heck much better as a 1st person shooter. EA this nice thing you did giving a game away is actually killing me. Anyone else hate Dead Space?

I can't play it, it's not scary as a whole but jumpscares kill me.

Just played it through this nigth... It was actually pretty fun but yes the camera is shit. (A little further in the game you there is a shooting booth and you have to shoot some guys. Problem: There are 3 rows and If you stand in the middle you hide the one on the left and so on.)

I too think it's unplayable lol.

I don't think I am going to be able to get anywhere after going in the elevator after escaping the initial set of aliens. There is an invisible wall in an entry way and I kicked a panel that I thought I might lead to somewhere I can crawl through but nope. Seriously wth?

no, the controls are horrid, its not scary, after the first 20-30 minutes i knew where every single enemy was hiding, there is NOTHING good about that game at all..

I agree the mouse controls are disgraceful, I also cannot cope with the jump scares. As a whole the game isn't scary but, the jump scares are just horrible.

So I spelt something wrong in my post... I don't care I don't read through what I write and I type very quickly.

I know I won't enjoy the game with this camera view but to make matters worse there appears to be no way out of where I am after getting out of the elevator. I press B to go through this door and did smash the security control to open the door but yet it won't let me through. :S

I turned on Vsync and it didn't help. Someone said this solves it and you need to have it on before the guy gets killed behind the door. :o Seriously how does EA not fix this? It is a total game breaking bug that kills immersion!

the Xbox 360 version is WAYY much better than the PC version, less bugs too.
