Need Recommends, 2.1 Speakers

Lukiose

Hello LTT :D

Today's good Friday so Im hopeful for some sales popping up here and there to jump on. Im looking for a pair of speakers (or 5.1) within the price range of around 125USD ish with 150USD as the upper limit.

I already have a HD558 for music so the speakers will be for games and movies.(Bass and clarity) I have no knowledge in the speaker section so im up for recommendations, please do me a favour :)

Logitech Z623 are pretty nice.

Or the Swans M10 if you want 2 speakers with a mid-woofer.

Or 2 good quality bookshelf speakers with an additional subwoofer ( this is more expensive but also better in terms of sound quality, altough I'd still recommend the Logitech Z623 if you are going this route ).

I have a pair of Swan M50's. Nice warm sound and they come with a volume control knob and they connect using a 3mm jack. You can however buy a 3.5mm to RCA cables if needed fyi

Is there any notable difference between the Z623's woofer and the Swan M10? Amazon apparently have the Z623s at $100 and i can get free shipping to Singapore if i top up a little so i'm highly tempted :D

Logitech is not that great. The Swans are much better although another option if you must have a sub is Klipsch Promedia 2.1 but 2 bookshelf speakers and a lepai 2020A+ amp would be a better value.
