Unbuffered ECC RAM On The ASUS H87I-Plus?

I'm building a home server with ZFS RAIDZ-2 for the filesystem (ECC RAM is great for ZFS file integrity) and was just wondering how these RAM kits would go in an ASUS H87I-Plus motherboard with an i3 4130T or Pentium G3420. The intal ARK page for both CPUs says that ECC ram is supported but the motherboard page doesn't mention ECC support. When I used the Kingston RAM selector search thing it didn't show any ECC DIMMs in the results. Seeing as it's unbuffered ECC RAM I would assume it won't matter but I thought I'd ask here just to be sure.

My choice of RAM kits:

ASUS H87I-Plus:

Also, I know that ZFS loves large amounts of RAM but would it also like higher speed RAM? Is it worth getting two of the crucial 1600Mhz kits if I were to go 16GB? Would there be any performance increase over 1333Mhz? I'm assuming not but I just thought I'd ask.

Thanks :)

EDIT: It seems that this board doesn't support ECC RAM but there is NOWHERE I can get server motherboards in Australia. Newegg ships internationally now but they have restrictions on all the server boards :(

You will need a motherboard that supports ecc

But does it? It doesn't mention ECC support on the memory section of the spec sheet but the CPU supports it. Also, I'm talking unbuffered ECC RAM.

u have to go for a mobo like this....

or u can forget the ecc and get a normal mobo and non ecc ram kit... :)

The cpu isn't really the problem in this case most cpu's support it but you will need a motherboard that has support for it otherwise it won't work.

I need the ECC RAM. The ZFS filesystem's data integrity features seem useless without it. That mobo is way too expensive and mini-itx would be preferred but I would get a bigger one if it's necessary. Also, I live in Australia so choices with server boards and SOCs, etc. are limited. I'll have a look around and see what I can find.

EDIT: Newegg now has international shipping. I'll see what they have

EDIT2: You can't get any server mobos shipped to Australia :(

ok have a look around where u live..and i think u will get it cheap there as u live in australia...and if u can  find a decent mobo then get that, bcoz server grade mobo of other companies like asus, msi will be expensive...

Yeh have a look at the edits on my other reply to you. I can't find anywhere (I have looked hard) to get server boards in Australia, and newegg won't ship them to Australia for some reason. BTW Australia is never cheaper than the US. Everything is usually a fair bit more money

Ah, okay. I managed to find some on ebay. Most are coming from the US though and the ones that aren't cost even more because they were probably just shipped from some US retailer and resold. $300 just for a mobo that has 6 SATA3 slots, supports unbuffered ECC RAM and has the 1150 socket :/ I'll keep looking...

Just found the one you recommended before for $700 lol...
