ASUS GTX780-DC2OC vs EVGA GTX 780 SC w/ ACX Cooler

Hi Everyone,

 

Another question about the GTX 780's. Which out of the two, ASUS GTX780 dc2oc and EVGA GTX780 SC w/ACX, in your opinion is better and why?

I need help with choosing between these two as I am building a pc and can't decide between the two. This will be done in a H440 so any other suggestions will be taken as well.  

 

Advantages of asus are:

1. Comes with a backplate

2. Maybe runs cooler? I'm not too sure as different websites have different results

3. AU$40 cheaper

 

Advantages of evga are:

1. Higher base and boost clock speeds

2. Aesthetics (personal preference)

3. I've read about good customer service and warranty

For cooling they are pretty equal but the EVGA card is a little quieter. Looks and price. That is what you will have to decide on.

If the Asus is cheaper go for it. It looks and performs well and its not worth it to pay $40 just because of the EVGA brand

I think you should pay the extra $40 and not have to worry about any problems when you want to RMA it or return it for some reason.
