Corsair Vengeance Pro or Dominator Platinum RAM?

Yeah, RAM is RAM. It's pretty much the same no matter who makes it. However, I am a stubborn Corsair fanboy and a lot of the parts that I will be putting into my build are from Corsair. The theme will be be red and black. So should I get red Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM or their Dominator Platinum?

I'd get the Dom Platinums.  I've got the white Vengeance low profile sticks in my media pc, and I went with Dominator Platinums for my main rig.  And they look amazing!  They've got a soft under glow LED light.  And the Shiny silver finish goes well with shiny silver fittings or a heatsink if you can find one that fits over them.

I was thinking myself to get these for my planned workstation build.

 

Does anyone know how good these can be dissembled?

I kinda want to try to mod the top piece of the heatspreader to match my color scheme (wich will be black/yellow)

 

Someone knows?

Im sorry I kinda stept in here with another questions about the vengence pro's.

It was me with the black/yellow.

I plan a build with the MSI Mpower and an 770 Lightning. So thats why.

The gold ones do look nice too and they are the next best thing yes.

but i want THE best thing...and that would be a yellow like that on the Mpower for example ;)

I guess I just have to try it out then.

Where are you getting the MSI Lightning from? Mindfactory.de and Amazon.de don't sell them anymore.

A heat gun will take off the ram spreaders, low heat will do
