Almost went a day without a crash

DJfern94

Since upgrading my rig to the specs listed in my signature, I have encountered freezing everyday. My whole system will lock up and I will have to restart via the button on the case. I was encountering the freezing every 5 minutes when playing Titanfall, but since taking off my RAM overclock I have not encountered it. However I was just rendering a video in windows live movie maker, while watching youtube videos and generally browsing the internet and yet again my system froze, this time however it was the first time out of a game.

I should probably say I did not do a clean install of windows when upgrading my system. Does anyone have an idea on what could be causing this?

Thanks

take off any overclocks, check your SSDs and HDDs for any errors.

I have taken off all overclocks, is there any software I can use to do this?

Bad ram?

I am starting to think that in the process of moving all my components my ram has been effected some how

Here are some options, no order. The hyperpi one is kind of not for noobs.

1Run a a window of HCI per core you have, set to 512MB or so. Let run until 1,000-10,000% coverage.

2Prime95, do blend, for a day.

3Memtest, burn to usb and run for two days

4Run a 32m test of hyperpi

quick edit- this is after you've figured out your problem. just reset to stock clocks, redo your windows instal and drivers. getting your applications reinstalled is nothing if you keep the installers, they auto update so they don't go bad.

Not doing a clean install is just asking for strange problems like this. I would re-install.
