companies that sell models like the clevo for example you can literally specify anything you want inside and the CPU prices are cheaper than what you can buy them for, also they are a bitch to assemble/dissasemble

 

its a lot of work for really no gain other than e-peen

Whether or not they're right and the laptop is better after cramming it with Corsair goodies, that's the cheapest marketing trick I've ever seen.
