is there even a top 5? might as well just be all of the decent fans.

that's like asking name the top 49 states of America

maybe but im asking your person top 5

yeah, and there's only 6 fans worth buying, so that criterion is useless.

a top 5 is pointless. Ask what the best fan is for your need

do you need silence, air flow, static pressure, or a combination of two

then state budget, and choose from the 2-3 mentioned fans.

Rosewill Hyperborea/Akasa Apache --decent static pressure, quiet, cheap

Arctic F12 PWM CO --similar to above but quieter and less static pressure

NF-S12a - great for quiet slow exhaust, I also just have a thing for Noctua

NF-F12 - all around usefulness and quiet

CM JetFlo - looks cool, performance but loud

AFB1212GHE-CF00 --just because
