Trying to choose between 2 headphones, can't decide

Element921

I've been searching for a while and have narrowed my search down to the AKG Pro Audio K271 MK11 and the Onkyo ES-FC300, but I cannot choose between the two. The AKG ones seem to have a better soundstage for me(I don't like a lot of bass), but I plan on using them on-the-go most of the time and the Onkyo ones clearly have better portability. Which do you guys think I should get?

for on the go I'd vote for the onkyo of the 2 listed but that earcup hinge..... it makes me nervous just looking at it... like cringe/butt pucker nervous.

Personally I would go with the AKG because it is a more reliable brand where as the ES-Fc300 is really Onyoko's first venture into the modern headphone market. Morover it is more likely that the Onyoko headphones will overcompensate with added bass which you said you didnt like.

Their balanced and well sorted, nothing really wrong with them except that they are smaller then expected and almost an on ear.
