PC Crashing ~ Help Appreciated

Rasmuff

So as of lately I have been running a Minecraft: Feed The Beast Server for my buddies and I from school just off my desktop while also playing at the same time. My problems with this is the my computer crashes every once and a while and it basically locks the server up and corrupts some files. Resulting in lose of game play and me looking like a fool.

The crashes range from Blue Screen to flat out turning off suddenly. The crashes have only happened when I'm away from my PC so like during the night when I'm asleep but some of them are still playing.

The thing i would like to figure out is just how i can stop these crashes in general? Because they have happened in the past with it during other situations and I've been clueless as to why.

My specs should be in my signature and if you need info just ask.

Thanks.

This just seems to be general crashing from overheating. Try seeing if you can monitor the temps of each part one night to see if anything becomes out of the ordinary. Also, do you leave many background processes running, or just the essentials needed for the server?
