Corsair AX760

Steven9595

Looking to do a PC Build (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3sK6b)

Will the Corsair AX760 PSU work fine for that build? I know a single EVGA GTX 770 SC w/ACX cooler requires at least 42A on the 12V rail, but I'm not too sure what I would need with 2 x 770 SC w/ACX.

Thank you for your help and advice!

Edit: What PSU would you recommend if I was running a single EVGA GTX 780 Ti SC w/ACX?

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X @ 4.7GHz | GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 | Motherboard: X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI | RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 32GB | Case: NCase M1 v6.0 | SSDs: Samsung 970 Evo+ 1TB, 860 Evo 1TB | CPU Cooler: H100i ELITE CAPELLIX | MonitorsLG 27GN950-B 4K 165Hz |

Although the AX760 is enough, I would go up to the AX860 just in case, since you're gonna be roughly arround 650-700 Watts.

I don't think you'll need anything more than that for x2 GTX 770s.

Thanks for the input guys! I've decided I'll go with the AX860 just to be safe. Also gonna grab some red sleeved cables from Corsair to make the build look a lot nicer :)

Yeah, it would work. I would recommend the EVGA Supernova 750 G2 (the NEX750G is a different unit, and I don't recommend that). It's an high-end unit with a 10 year warranty. It's up there with one of the best units on the market currently, and for $119.99 or $109.99 after MIR, it's an excellent deal. http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-80PLUS-Certified-220-G2-0750-XR/dp/B00IKDETOW

The 850w variant is even price better than the AX760 (what happen to the price? I used to be much lowered). Edit: actually, the AX860 is in the same price as the 760. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-ax860

Thats one of the things i love about corsair PSU's they have the cables you can buy that are sleeved just so much easier then having to sleeve the PSU yourself

I've heard sleeving your own PSU cables is a complete nightmare. I'm really glad it's available to buy, even if it is $70 for the group...

It's $79.99 for the kit without the 24-pin, btw. You need to buy that separately for $19.99 more.

FWIW, there's going to be some heat shrink-less individually sleeving for the EVGA Supernova G2 I had suggested. It was supposed to come out this week, but apparently it is reschedule to next week. http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2149472

I would recommend considering this unit. It's an excellent unit, in which the lower price will allow you to put some of that money into buying the individually sleeved kit that is to come. If you are able to wait until next week to make your decision, you can see how much it is for, as well as if there is any PSU+cables bundle sale that they might put up.

Here's a review on the 750w version, btw: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/SuperNOVA_G2_750/11.html

$500.... I would've told them to go jump in a lake. That's stupid expensive just to sleeve the cables...
