750D Watercooling Help/Advise

Not liking the look/layout of this. This is not accounting for angled fittings but im not liking how it looks. Any suggestions, move the pump, i don't really want to get a different case. This case was a gift and i want to stick with it for a while.

 

 

I've added another pic with a GPU block in but it will be added in later.

Getting a pump there will be a serious stretch, but can be done.

 

To maximize the cooling I would get a Monsta 280 or 240 for the front and get a UT60 360 or 420 for the top, though depending on your motherboard that will be tight. The bottom 240 kind of a waste considering how thin it will have to be. By the way, you'll definitely want to flip that 360 around and do GPU>360>CPU>240>RES or something like that.

It's really nice to build in, but once you get a lot in there it starts to show that it wasn't entirely made for 50+ lbs to be in there all the time (if you're watercooling this is an issue). If you aren't watercooling then don't buy it, it's way way way to big for even a loop to fill it out.

Its fine but theirs a crap-ton of room with nowhere to put crap. Its kinda annoying, You just have voids everywhere and i think they located some of the mounts in horrible positions and honestly the front should be able to support 3x 120mm. I would not recommend this case. Get a Define R4, 450D, or Corsairs new 760T.

I would not recommend this case. Get a Define R4, 450D, or Corsairs new 760T.

So your saying just go thick on the front and top and forget the bottom?

Yep. It will just make it cramped and harder to get the PSU in there.

Well im wanting white rads, the thickest they offer is 21mm.

 

 

I could put a 120mm rad in the back but that would just cover up my painted VRM heatsync

XSPC is the only people i know who makes them. I wouldn't be opposed to just painting those ones you suggest either.

Just curious, shouldn't your res feed directly into your pump? Or is that not really as important as people have been preaching?

@ amd lover, what kind of paint would you use to paint them?

I personally would probably use just off the shelf paint but i would trust Ninja better and use auto paint because he has a lot more experience. I used Krylon on my heatsyncs in my build and those get fairly warm, prob 70-80oF and that paints fine.

You have to or the water won't get around the loop. Preferably put the pump directly below the res because you need gravity to start the water going.

pretty sure the 760T has the same internal layout as the 750D

No the front supports 240 or 280. I could put it in there but the top fan mount would be halfway into the 5.25" bays

I know, but you could drill out the bays.
