New Gaming Headset

PapaSimmz

These Kingston HyperX ones based on a QPAD design are looking good! http://goo.gl/MBPEDX

>$100

I guess that's not terrible for the price, but I would like to see it lower. Also, lol:

I havnt tried yet because I dont have access to QPAD stuff in the US and well that ones not out but the specs look good and it looks build well. Also is it just me or does QPAD's higher end headset look exactly like the Beyerdynamic MMX300.

So are you looking for greater than $100 headset then? Whats your max?

That made my brain hurt, bad.

They're available in the US under various re-brands: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009PIQUB6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2OO9KC7RFNII7&coliid=I10RVBFESAV3QM http://www.amazon.com/Takstar-Headphones-Monitor-Earphones-Professional/dp/B00FXSVSDW/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=073K1WVGMNTEDSN247YF http://www.amazon.com/Gemini-DJ-HSR-1000-Professional-Monitoring/dp/B006Y2BI04/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=073K1WVGMNTEDSN247YF

QPAD is Beyer's OEM, so the "similarities" are not really surprising. I assume Beyer makes their own drivers but I don't truly know for sure.

the same OEM that makes those also likely makes them from QPAD. I also really really doubt that QPAD makes anything for beyer since the MMX300 is based off of some of their other headsets and the general design of the headphones is used across their range of products.

Oh, I assumed QPAD was the OEM, but you're saying they're just another rebrander?

When searching for low priced headphones in other countries, I've seen superlux headphones that look exactly like DT770's or 990's, so variants of other Beyerdynamic products don't really surprise me.

yea and beyer's design is iconic so other places are likly knocking it off. The specs of the high end QPAD one is closeish to the beyer though but who knows unless someone buys it and rips it apart.

the Takstar HI-2050s? I could definitely pull mine apart and see what they look like in regards to drivers!
