Aerocool Shark 140mm for £9?

The_Strict_Nein

So I'm building a system (stay tuned for the build log) and I'm in need of some extra cooling fans. I'm getting the Arc Midi R2 Case for the rig and although for a modern system the 3 fans included may be enough, I'm using a Socket 775 mobo that, shall we say, relies heavily on some good air flow (no spoilers).

I've found some Aerocool Shark 140mm fans on ebay for £9.00. They seem to shift quite a bit of air compared to the Silent Series R2 fans included while still being really quiet. Should I go for it? I'd probably buy 2, putting those in the front, then moving the included front fan to the bottom of the case and leaving the other two in the stock config.

Something like this:

I'll be throwing the Socket 775 mobo in with a Hyper 212 Evo cooler and probably a EVGA GTX 750 Ti, over clocking all three of them.

they're probably not going to be quieter than the R2 fans, btw

they might move more air though

Hmm, it may the case that I'll have to check temps with the stock config and decide later

I have been using them for a while now, I think it would be better to use them as static pressure fans.
