Streaming games now I've got my rig set up back at home

DJfern94

What the title says, by no means am I a great gamer, but I thought I would give streaming a try

EDIT: I am currently using OBS, I have watched a few tutorials on how to set OBS up, but with both streaming and recording I am encountering frame stuttering, could anyone recommend some controls I could play around with?

Have you overclocked that 6350 yet?

Against CoC. plus you are not streaming.

Lost the stream halfway through the match, I am only using the AMD Raptr software to stream to twitch, it seems to be quite unreliable

I have used Asus Autotune to overclock it, the software reckons it will only go to 4.1GHz safely

This^

I use Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). Pretty great imo.

Edit: Ninja'd by the OP. Great.

That would mean messing around in the BIOS :L something I am not quite confident with

Learn how to do it. It's not that hard

The advertising part is against CoC. But if you want feedback on settings etc. then this is ok. Btw, guys. Reporting doesn't bring penalties unless its completely attacking against certain member. Use it.

Which actually now you mention it, I am wanting help on settings....

Does anyone know the optimal settings to record locally with OBS? I am experiencing extreme stuttering when I playback my recordings, does it have something to do with the buffer size?

Since Buffer should be same as bitrate... you trying with too high bitrate?

I have tried everything from 20000 to 30000 on the bitrate, this shouldn't be too high for local recording should it?

Those are ok. I use pretty much same, 2500 for local recordings. Here's my config that has been working. I haven't tested it lately so they may have broken something in updates.

Thanks for sharing that, I think I have solved the problem, my problem seemed to be my ram's overclock, I have put it back to the auto mode in the uefi and all problems seemed to have gone
