moto g vs nokia lumia 520???

looking for a cheap smart phone the only thing i use it for is texting and youtube plus the ocasional movie. sont really play games maybe angry birds but that is about it and i never talk on the phone. sometimes i listen to music at work with no head phones so a beefy speaker is a big +!
opinions and i know the moto g is better but there is a 25$ dfrence between the 2

nokia is at 75$ and moto g is at 100$ (usd)

can i load a custom rom and overclock/throttle? and what about unlocking and rooting on moto g?
