'Bryan' confrims Swiftech H220X release date as May 1st

The_Strict_Nein

For clarification, Bryan is Swiftech's community spokesperson

You can read the thread here: http://forums.swiftech.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2494&sid=4ce393d7ea67356c40b8afe0f651c1de&start=25

Right now I have a solid date of May 1st. I really don't see how it could change at this point

The head of Swiftech said the price would be US 149.99

Turn that into EUR, that's 108.64. However, that's before any tax, so it remains to be seen how much it'll cost

Yeah, just saw the video... Atleast in my country they always put the same price as in dollars, if its $150 then it'll be 150€... now i shall wait for the reviews to see if it's worth giving 150€( hopefully less) for that amazing cooler!

that pump looks like it will restrict airflow. Hoping for a more thorough comparison to other coolers in the future.

Yea, i am done with Swiftech AIO. My H220 pump went out in smoke in less then a year. I now use a H100i.  I do miss my H220 and its awesome cooling capability but i don't want a product that is un-reliable. i will be using my broken H220 for parts when i doo a custom water cooling setup maybe some time in the future.

You really should see this thing in action though.  That new pump is pretty nuts.  Although at this point if you're going with a custom loop and not using the H220X as just a CPU block, then get that standalone pump.

What went wrong with it?  I see them offer quite a few fixes and they offer to replace brokens items as well.  Did you contact them?

This thing is awesome but it has a huge flaw for those who have color oriented builds. The coolant inside the res is blue with white illuminating leds, which would instantly stick out like a sore thumb. And if you want a different color you're going to have to change the coolant completely.

Thank god it's an RGB led and you actually change the liquid since it's an expandable loop.
