Australia's internet speed is a joke.

So right now I have 35 ping, 34mbps download and 27mbps upload, I am on NBN and I pay over $90 each month!!
Now, my internet is faster than 99% of Australia, where the average internet speed doesn't go over 6mbps. 
In Singapore, Tokyo ecc... the average stays in the hundreds!! 
Thanks Tony Abbott for promising us 25mbps by 2019!

Quite literally. My speeds up until last summer were 5Mbps down and 1Mbps up. Now it's 20-40 Mbps down and 5-10Mbps up. My Nannies house is what my old speed is. I also live in a rather largely populated area.

I also cant help notice you tested to a server over 450miles away :P not one any closer?

I have the worst calculating system. (4gb = $40 8gb = $50 16gb = $60 32gb = $70) Plus the base cost of the line and router.

I am in the UK too and most of my freinds get speeds similar to me, and we live in London. I am not sure what my parents pay for though but i think it could be 38 up (This is BT Infinity BTW)

what u are on the nbn and only get 34mb? wtf are u on wireless or something? i only get 17mb down and 800kbs up i pay $120 a month i wouldnt be complaining if i was you!

Australia is so cute. 25Mbps by 2019. Over in NZ we can get 100Mbps in urban areas right now. In my city it will be everywhere by 2016.
