Will a 360mm rad suffice?

Hi guys, im looking to build a new rig and iv'e never watercooled before so i want to get it right. My question is, will a 360mm Hardware Labs Black Ice Nemesis rad be enough for my setup, i know that they have just been released so there won't be a whole lot of people with them yet. But generally speaking will a 360mm rad cool my components?

The rig i have in mind consists of the following. The CPU and GPU will be watercooled and maybe the MB.

MSI Geforce GTX 780Ti 3072MB

MSI Z87 MPower Intel Z87

Corsair Obsidian 750D (can fit a 63mm rad + 25mm fans)

Corsair RM Series RM 650 (if anyone thinks this wont be enough let me know)

Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz

RipjawsX F3-17000CL11D 8GB kit

Kingston SSDnow V300 120GB

4x Corsair SP120 PWM Performance Edition

I already own the i5 and with a 4.6GHz OC @ 1.32V i have 115W according to HWmonitor.

And from what iv'e seen the 780ti uses about 350-400W (not sure if Watt's is the same as TDP)

And the MB obviously doesn't push out much heat but i like the look of a watercooled MB and it will hopefully provide a higher OC

This is what will be in the loop.

EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy Clean CSQ

XSPC HighFlex Hose 3/8" ID, 5/8" OD 2 Meters

Mayhems Pastel - Ice White Concentrate

EK Water Blocks EK-FC780 GTX Ti - Acetal+Nickel

EK Water Blocks EK-D5 Vario X-RES 140

XSPC G1/4" to 3/8" ID, 5/8" OD

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, also if anyone thinks I should change certain components, feel free to voice your opinion.

Thanks for reading.

yeah

you wont get great temperatures for overclocking, but its a good start, and there is room to upgrade in the future

you will probably have to reduce your overclocks a bit until you get another rad or two

Thanks for the replies. I can always put a 240mm in the front but i didnt want to spend the extra money if didn't need to. How much of a temp drop would i be looking at with a extra 240?

Also are there any products in my loop that i should change? The tubing are comp fittings are my main worry, from what i have read XSPC aren't the best quality products. I like the look of monsoon fittings but i can't justify the price. Anyone care to shed some light?

your overclocking skills and fan speed (noise level) on a 360x 60mm radiator will

be the  factors. on 750D some cannot fit the 60mm radiator in the roof and have

to resort to the 45mm radiator. as efficient as the 45mm is, you might notice the

fan speeds will increase to maintain the same temperature as the 60mm radiator.

the 360x 60 can have acceptable temperature and low fan speeds, but depends

on fans used, as well.

Thanks for the reply, Im fairly confident that the rad in question will fit being only 56mm + 25mm corsair sp120 fans equals 81mm. I have been told that i could fit up to an 88mm rad, so it will be tight, but it should fit. Please correct me if i'm wrong. If anyone owns a 750d and is willing to measure the distance from the top to that start of the PCB that would be awesome.

Has anyone had any experience with Hardware Labs radiators? The 360mm Nemisis is rated for 1800W is that Bu****it?

EDIT - The other radiator i was looking at is the XSPC AX360 being only 45mm it will definitely fit and is a little cheaper, but i assume at the cost of performace, even though its meant to compete with the RX360. Would this be a better option?

yeah its 88mm. it's gonna be really tight. also, if you don't use your 5 1/4 bay you might want to consider putting a 420mm rad in the top.

I have thought about that, i would perfer to have a 420mm and I wont be using the 5.25 bay, so its it actually possible? Some people say you can and some people say you cant, does it just depend on how much clearance there is from the fitting side?

EDIT I just saw the link, I think i will just remove the 5.25 cage and fit a 420mm with the fittings at the rear of the case and remove the 140mm fan at the back as i shouldnt need it if i have my GPU, CPU and Mosfets under water.

I have 60mm radiator with z87-a board and it may barely fit with mpower, probably touching cpu power connector sockets thought.

This can be avoided by offsetting the radiator screw holes a bit.

i use the SR1 radiators and with the width of 133mm, the 5.25" ODD bays don't

allow much off-setting room. the shorter housing does help, but the 8-pin on the

1155/1150 boards does get punched pretty good. the AX series will fit, but

because of the shroud, the orientation could be limited by possible rear fan

interference.

yes it can, but not much as the 5.25" bays only allow 8mm of scoot room. not much

but more is better.
