Extent of Glacer's pump

Hullo,

How many rads can this pump run?

is it safe to assume that it could run a 240 + 120 rad?

This is part of my planning for a build that I will (hopefully) be able to do some time towards the end of the year :P

I presume it can run 2x 280mm pumps with no problem. It's actually the Swiftech pump used on the H220 with a bit of tweaks and rebranded. it's pretty powerful nevertheless.

I assume you mean 2x280mm rads, but thanks, i'll probably get it then,

welcome to the LinusTechTips forums!

concern over radiators is not a major concern for if the pump is strong enough,

but how many water blocks it has to pump water through. the technology of

radiators has them as very non-restrictive. water blocks on the other hand are

the major concern as they are very, very restrictive and pumps do have issues

on this level.

Well...just one (gpu) water block, and if you include the pump itself, then two.

I assume just the one pump is plenty though, so I'm 95% likely to get the Glacer 240L or H220, depending on which one's available. And one extra 120 rad.

CPU and GPU block on the H220/240L will be fine. but i would caution you to

read any and all comments about those particular items. although they do have

great cooling potential, the pump do seem to be a bit noisy for most users.

good luck!
