megadarkwood

Title is all jokes, lul.

In this tutorial I will be showing you how to make your desktop look super badass and unique! :D

1. Backgrounds

Now, you might think that this is obvious, but lots of people have really plain and "meh"

You can check out some wallpapers here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/123302275@N06/

here: http://www.reddit.com/r/wallpaper

and here: http://wallbase.cc/

2. Custom icons

Now this is something different, and more fancy. It's really easy to do, there are some guides here and an awesome program here.

3. Organization

This is something that is also, pretty obvious. Organizing your desktop makes it look a lot nicer and more pleasing to look at.

How can you do this? Use a program like fences, It's amazing!

4. Custom skins

This is also something pretty swaggy :P To do this, use a program like windowblinds

Check it out, it's awesome!

5. Get some awesome effects

Just get this, you will love it. You can get those awesome scrolling effects that you can get on Android, but on WINDOWS!!! :OOOO

Nearly half of the things you posted just slow down your computer for no added benefit, and they're not even free.

I installed it, but now it gets in the way too much. Then I just decided, "Screw that," and destroy it. But it took over my PC long before..

Well that's your fault, you chose what widgets you want and where. It's not the programs fault you made it look messy.

Some people do things like this with rainmeter - http://d1b6o7ro1svcfn.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Rainmeter_Desktop_Mod_by_akosimark.jpg

Looks ballin' like you're in a space ship or some shit.

All this stuff is cool and all, but it is all unproductive and seriously slows down your pc, and causes a lot of crashes.
