Metro Last Light only using 20% GPU

I am having a bit of a problem at the moment with Metro Last Light where I am getting really low FPS. Originally I though it was because my GPU was struggling to play at 1440p but after running afterburner to monitor GPU usage it seems the usage is sitting around 20% whilst playing. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Reinstall your drivers and let GeForce Experience optimize the game for you and try again?

I'm going to give the Beta drivers a go, now just have to wait for them to download on my 2 mb/s connection

as other guys said try reinstalling the drivers and then give it a shot, also first use the default nvidia settings, if same problem again then, turn off the over ride feature in nvidia control panel and use the games settings...

i think u should go with whql certified drivers, beta sometimes cause some issues...just to be safe...

Uninstall the drivers in safe mode if you can, then boot up normally and install drivers from there.

Meaning he was probably already on a WHQL driver.

if he was already using the latest whql drivers then go with beta and if there are any new whql that he was not using then go whql...ok... :)

I was originally using the most recent non-beta driver release from GeForce Experience. I am now waiting for the beta drivers to download then I will try those. The strange thing is it only happens in Metro Last Light

Have you killed anyone yet on it(People who you could save)? Listened to the homeless man? If you haven't you wont get the "good" ending. Then again I didn't get the good ending, I just looked up the good ending on youtube.

I never did a single "bad" thing and I still never got the good ending(the first time I played). You have to do like 95% of all possible morality events to get the good ending.

I did pretty much all the bad things as humanly possible, I thought the "bad" ending was better tbh.

I lost my original save when I my SSD died so I had to download a save of the internet so I could continue from where I was so I have no idea what will happen at the end.
