All of these cables are sleeved with the same type of cables that come on your Corsair PSU. All you do is separate them that's it, they are ready for sleeving :D "No striping any cables in order to sleeve them"

I bought the Corsair CX500m for my current build. Love the psu and the black cables looked better than other psu's for the price, however now I want to sleeve the psu. Has anyone here tried to strip the black plastic off the cables so that the wires can be sleeved? Any suggestions on how to do it?post-31674-0-84617300-1397445490.jpg

This is what the cables look like now.

you do NOT strip the insulation off wires to sleeve them

all you have to do is separate the wires and put cable sleeving over top

do some research of custom cable sleeving

i corsair also has pre sleeved cables in black red and white for some of their PSUs

im not sure if there is for the CX series tho...

I have sleeved cables before. I thought the cables were coated in the black plastic that could be removed to leave cables(still with insulation) behind.
