accoring to  review websites

a full system with a 780ti sli will suck in around 650 watts

and the recommendation is

GeForce GTX 780 Ti 2-way SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 800 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

so for two 780 GTX cards you in the clear

Yes. 860i will be plenty for a 780 SLI. It's the perfect fit imo.

good are you sure?

will there still be room for overclocking?

yes

you still have around 200+ watts to spare

i would like to add that overclocking a cpu in most modern games will have negligible effects

so overclock you GPU instead

I am as sure as someone can get, who's interested in tech. :D I don't own such a system but SLIs require ~750+W minimum and your swystem won't be running full load 24/7. The AX 860i will have the peak loads covered with plenty power. Plus, it's platinum rated. You could go for an EVGA supernova 1000W if you wanted to.

who cares...

yes you can

i would like to know what your build is just to be sure

a 3960x at 4.6Ghz with two 780 Ti will load over 700 watts so ur fine + extra hard drives etc

Provided you don't plan on buying a 39xx or 49xx chip, and overclocking it past 1.45 volts as well as modding the bios on the 780's to allow over 1.3 volts, you'll be fine.

OC'ing (Unless it's an i7-e + possibly amd fx series(?)) doesn't require many watts. 860 Watts is more than enough.

Overkill. A good 750w is already more than enough.
