Help with setup?

1st time posting so sorry if Im bad at this :P

I currently have a fully working gaming pc that I have saved up for, for a long time, Now I want to work on my setup. I have came here in look for some advice as to what may look good for a medium sized desk that has one monitor and 2 speakers already. Im looking for cool stuff that would impress anyone who came into my room. For example I just purchased Water speakers to go on top of my old ones (stupid and unsafe I know, but I have pictured it looking good) and Am thinking about LED Strips for behind my monitor. Anything like that but be as random as you want, I like to see all new Ideas, links would be cool too :)

Current System- Asus Z87K Mobo, Palit GTX 780, 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1866mhz RAM, Intel I5 4670K Processor at 4.1Ghz, 600w PSU Corsair, 120GB Boot drive SSD With 1TB External Drive. Numerous 120mm case fans. Oh and meatballs. Cant forget meatballs.

Welcome to the forum!

Personally I appreciate a very clean setup much more than a flashy one with lights everywhere. If you can make it so you can only see your mouse cable and keyboard cable on your desk, that would be pretty sweet!

There's a thin line between impress and looks tacky.

How much would you guys say is too much? I mean im yet to buy LED Strips for the back of my monitor but the water speakers have been ordered. Do I stop there and try to keep it clean?

Just a quick tip, tag people or quote them if you want to talk to them, otherwise they won't get notified about your reply.

Anyway, I think the water speakers can work if you can incorporate them well and have a really clean setup. I personally wouldn't get LEDs or anything else really though.

less is more. keep it very clean and don't put too much stuff on the desktop. looks tidy and somewhat buisiness Here is a pic of my desk last weekend :D That is an example of what you should try not to do with your setup and one example fore what a little cable management and some unloading can do.

also i think a mini-fridge can be cool too.

Yup

Im loving the pics!

Your setup does look good nonetheless! I will keep in mind keeping it clean, and the mini fridge I think is a good idea because I find myself going downstairs for drinks all the time :P

Thanks for the help!
