I like the diversity of the reviews recently. Motherboards and graphics cards can only be so different. This past month has been the best thanks to all the different types of products.

This board makes no sense, why would you want a ATX board for an APU it's not like your going to run two GPUs (not including the onboard) on it that would just be asinine.

I wonder what kind of advances in motherboard technology we will see in 3 years. What other things can they improve on? I certainly don't know.

Just noticed that Gigabytes visual design team for their higher level motherboards have done really well with the subtle color accents and the nice black layout.

Question is, why do they let their lower level boards look like crap with the white accent and blue PCB color scheme?

What would you recommend for a micro ATX (or maybe mini ITX) motherboard for the Kaveri 7850k APU? Didn't look like there was too much on pcpartpicker in the way of matx.  If possible, I'd like to find something ~$60 that will overclock well and support 2400Mhz ram.  Thanks

So where exactly did the DX12 numbers come from in the benchmark? Windows 8.1 currently supports up to DX11.2. Not to mention that DX12 isn't even released yet.

Was this just a goof?

I bought this board,, it wont post,, it seem there is a bad batch of them with an old BIOS,, and there is no way it will post if you pop a Kaveri into the socket,,,

Only two ways to fix this,, send it back or pop an old Richland APU in and try to update the BIOS that way..

I know it's not related to the product, but god, I love your slide rails.

i suggest making a forum post, instead of this one, you can post in "new builds and plannings" or "motherboards"

On the topic of APUs, will underclocking the GPU part allow more headroom on the cpu overclcock?

I have this board and an 7850K. I would try out those overclocks... if only I had an aftermarket cooler! ugh.

The default BIOS for this board only works with Trinity and Richland APUs. I think it's because it was released before the release of Kaveri APUs. Fortunately for me I had a Trinity APU to update the BIOS with so that the board will work with a Kaveri APU. If you know someone who has a Richland/Trinity APU ask them if they can lend you theirs so you can update the BIOS.

@LinusTech, get someone to review cameras! Add some variety. Review a potato even. Or more audio products. Damn the haters.
