Who here actually takes their time with cable management?

cnapier39428

I've done about 5 personal builds over the last 3 years or so and I've always taken my time with managing cables behind he mobo mainly because its so hard to get that side panel on if you dont but my current rig is in an air 540 and I just threw it together and made it look good out front and said fuck the cables behind the mobo that you can't see...if you had a case with about six inches of cable management room would you do the same thing?

I do. Even with a non-windowed case.

EDIT: See? This is with a case with no intended cable management.

I do. I try rally hard and end up making everything look REALLY clean. I end up with a poorly managed rats nest behind the motherboard tray.

I ALWAYS do cable management. ALWAYS, because I'm just like that. I like being able to identify which cable is which just by glancing.

As long as it looks good in the window and the other side panel closes, you're golden, IMO.

Exactly the point I was trying to make

I redid all my cables 3 times for 1 hour each time and it still doesn't look all that neat.

I am getting a new case and intend to spend at least another hour to perfect them.
