Zohan2000
Go to solution Solved by Zohan2000,

the website i bought it from has accepted the warranty claim so now to take it all apart and post it away, gonna be a boring few weeks(guessing) till i can use the computer again :/

was updating the BIOS with MSI's updating tool and while it was flashing it the computer came up with an error and shut down, i restarted it and now nothing happens, the case fans come on and the LED on the CPU pump comes on and thats it, tried removing the CMOS battery for 5 minutes, pushed the clear CMOS button on the back of the board but still nothing, looked over the net but couldnt find any real help, so please help me, will be muchly appreciated.

Sound like you have bricked the board. Unfortunatly this is the risk one takes when flashing a BIOS.

I can't find any information on whether or not the board has dual BIOS, but if it have, you have to either press a button or flick a switch on the motherboard.

Board features dual BIOS. Looking in the manual right now as to where the switch is.

I was wrong... Your board is dead. Unless you can get your hands on a chip clip, and a new BIOS chip with the correct BIOS loaded... You're going to need a new board.
