The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

How is this based on what you think? Statistics point to League of legends followed by Dota 2.

BF4 doesn't actually have a real e-sports league afaik.

Even i like battlefield. But talking about sheer competitiveness of e-sport I think CS is more preferred by me.

CS 1.5/6 was the most popular. I haven't follow up for e-sport lately.

LoL is easily the most popular esport, followed by dota.

My preference goes to Starcraft 2, followed by Street Fighter IV and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

I much PREFER Starcraft 2. Partly becasue I play it myself and partly because it's a very nuanced 1v1 game. I always preffered 1v1 games over team games, gives it more focus IMO.

I tried watching some SMITE and DOTA casting but it was...well it was boring most of the time and then turned into an un-overseeable mess.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

Just to be frank, I never understood mmo games, for me FPS is the way to go.

Starcraft isn't an MMO so not quite sure why that's relevant :P

I don't like MMOs either, never manage to keep me interested.

I have watched CS1.6 most. Now its bit scattered. CS1.6 scene has died now that all good teams have changed into CSGO.

...which also isn't an MMO :x

There appears to be a little genre confusion going on here :P

I prefer to watch CS:GO over the other e-sport games mainly because it's the game I'm most familiar with.

I'm most familiar with StarCraft exports though sadly its been beaten out by the likes of LoL and Dota 2. Both have some pretty strong teams, but its always fun watching Korean-American SC 1v1s and the occasional stream here or there. From my experience, the strategies required for 1v1s, 2v2s, and 4v4s are among the harder you'll find in the competitive scene.

Especially now since all-or-nothing championships are starting to pop up. Competitive players make a decent amount of cash, some of which are using it to pay for their post secondary education (usually the American players).
