Nvidia shield Worth £245 (amazon)

so ive been wanting and Nvidia shield for a while and its definitely something i would use ALOT lol 

 

but the only question i have left is , is it worth £245 ?

Since you would use it alot i would go for it like @TheDoubleYGamer said and it is going to get better with the future updates

Asus RT-AC68U would probably do it.

yes it is compared to everywhere else in the world , but it has dropped since it came out , it was nearer £300 when it came out ....

Well, if your going to get a lot of use out of it, sure. I hate it when companys do this pound/euro for American dollar.  It pains me to see people paying it.

OP I have one I bought on amazon uk, cost me about the same. I absolutely love mine to pieces, use it daily for game stream and PS1/snes etc emulaton

 

Currently using the virgin media router, in 5ghz mode gamestream works quite well though I have to be in the same room as my router, or in my bedroom directly above it. I plan on upgrading to a night high end router soon but it works fine for now.

 

Just be aware nVidia will not provide warranty support. I had an issue with an update that bricked mine, and they would not do anything regarding warranty - however the nvidia guys on the official forum were amazing help and talked me through recovery mode and all is great :)
