Lol, if you tried a bit you can actually profit off this through eBay. 

 

Sold my mining cards for 150$ each on eBay not long ago, so if anyone wants to take a gamble.

Wow $125 after rebate... I might grab one for when we finally build my sister's gaming rig..

Pci-e 2.1 is exactly the same as 2.0. It's just a marketing gimmick.

Pci-e versions are all backwards compatible and the version that matters is on the motherboard, not the graphics card. Also, gpus have yet to fully saturate 2.0.

That's about the same price I payed for my old 6850 a few years back.

 

They might just have an abundance of stock and they are trying to get rid of it.
