XFX only makes graphics cards and power supplies and bitfenix makes cases, fans, and accessories.

That's a max of 5 components.

How about adding another brand?

Well, here's my entry anyway:

CPU:  Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($189.99 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard:  ASRock Z87E-ITX Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($129.99 @ Newegg)
Memory:  Kingston Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($64.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card:  XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card  ($339.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply:  XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $999.91
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

I went for a mini-itx blackout theme, with black and chrome components everywhere.

The 4670K when overclocked combined with an R9 280X will tear through games, especially once mantle goes mainstream.

Also, I managed to fit in a 128GB SSD and a 1TB HDD for fast and plentiful storage.

The XFX 550W unit will have more than enough power for the rig once overclocked, and it matches the black and silver color scheme.

Take a look at these Beautiful Pics to understand the color scheme:

Basic idea(s)

-Very silent rig with fan controller and silent fans that can sit on your desk and look nice.

Front: Bitfenix spectre pro 200mm Green LED intake ( look pictures )

Back: BF SPro 120mm green LED cpu cooler heat exhaust ( cpu cooler passive because it so close to fan, see pictures ) or leave it on, since its PWM fan anyway and its silent.

Top (optional): 2 120mm spectre fans that allready came with case, as exhaust, OR pwm fan that came with cpu cooler

Build: 280x really good overclocker, mantle

i5 4440, because it can be cooled passively, cheap bang/buck, great for mantle games also (single core perf)

i went with 16 gb just becase it has only 2 slots and its good to have em both same ram :D and its good for multitaks, new games, etc.. good low profile heatsinked ram

case, great case, even has rubber for psu :D

psu just xfx 550 you dont need more

cpu cooler is cheap on discount, big surface area, thermal coating, direct copper heatpipes

Idea and design behind honeycomb green mesh originates from:

pic ( love the green black honeycomb look :D ):

enough space for cpu cooler of any kind really

http://cdn.overclock.net/8/82/350x700px-LL-822bdea9_9.jpeg

Everything in stock including GPU

i got 200mm over 230 because it has lower diameter for LED scatter front prodigy mesh effect and is cheaper

Badass CPU cooler, 2 extra fans, OS included. Practically the entire package, except not ODD. I wouldn't use one anyway, but some people might. Slightly over the specified buget, but it may go down in the future and/or one could switch to the XFX R9 270. Went for a mainly stealthed build with small red accents.

Went with a black/blue theme since the case has a window. Took a locked processor since overclocking on a cheap board isn't really going well, and it's a bit cheaper. Added the Hyper 212 Evo just so you don't have to look at the stock cooler. The 1866-RAM was cheaper than some 1600-RAM's I saw, so I took those. 120 GB SSD for booting/games and a 1TB HDD for storage. Added the R9 280X so you use the eyefinity. The LED's would look quite nice in this case and the extra fan (LED one) will switch out the back-fan which will be placed in the front.

My favorite taste of the alphabet is yellow.

-snip-

Very nice build.

Btw, if you want to search for cheapest ram, press price / GB button, and it automatically sort it by it :) So you get best deal possible. THen you have some money left over so you can put it wherever you like

Only maybe mobo is not what i would choose.

Sweet :) usually I tick on all the boxes, exept the ones I don't need. Mobo wasn't my biggest concern, since it doesn't add more fps. Might could have switched out the SSD for a 64GB one and upgrade the mobo.

You got a nice build as well, sadly mini ITX cases aren't great for cooling, but with your 200mm that is getting solved :)

Your build is under budget if I click the link, but over budget in your post. If you just paste the BBCode in again it should be fine.
