Surprised those cards aren't dying in there.

Why would they be dying?

Why would they be dying?

Open air coolers and the lack of positive pressure. I can't keep my crappy 980's cool even with all my fans in the 540. Gotta switch out to blower style or run at 100% all the time.

The most they hit on the top card on stock fan curve is 66c

Now if I crank them with a little cooler ambient they run at about 55-60 depending how cool I keep my room

This is the ultra budget build I did for my nephew's birthday, not bad cable management, if it was mine I would have blacked out all the cables with something, I still might when I can get around to it (I have to install some office software soon anyway):

the case can only help to a certain point mate.. after that it is down to the builder and that cable management is probably one of the best i have seen ever. no joke

Yeah It should compliment it well. I'm getting a Kraken x61 cooler and some new fans for Xmas so I'll put the comb(s) on when I fit those. Probably boxing day as I don't think it would go down too well if I took the table up with my PC during Xmas dinner :P

Yes it is in a drawer. These zip ties actually came with the power supply so I had no part in that. Its just a HTPC so heat shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as I don't close it.

For a first build, I think I did pretty good.

The only thing that annoys me is the Corsair Link USB cable.

Why don't you disconnect the Corsair Link USB when you're not using it, I mean its only use really is to change the colour of the light on the cpu heat sink.

Not the cleanest of systems but it has lovely airflow and I have great CPU temps under load with a i7 4790k overclocked to 4.8Ghz (1.25vcore)
