Black & uv yellow Bitfenix Prodigy build.

Odina

Introduction

Hi everyone. I have only done one build before and it was a ATX watercooled PC but this one will not be fully watercooled (going to use a Corsair H105 Hydro for the cpu but thats it). This is my first time modding a case also. This will be my second Prodigy case as I have my parts in another Prodigy case atm.

Parts

Case: Bitfenix Prodigy

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI Socket 1150 mITX (will get a Z87 in the future, because I got the i7 4770K as a christmas gift)

CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K

GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 780 3GB DDR5 DirectCU II

RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB DDR3 1600MHz

PSU: Corsair RM650 Modular Power Supply

SSD/HDD: Samsung 840 EVO Series 120GB SSD

                  Kingston SSDNow V300 Basic 120GB

                  Seagate Desktop HDD 1TB 7200RPM

I'm planning on sleeving the cables black and uv yellow myself and use uv lights in the case.

Sorry for any bad english ;P

Ordered a Corsair H105 Hydro liquid cooler today, think I will get it at the start off next week B)

Today's work

Started with some painting today on the Corsair fan rings and the front part of the case. I also finished the HDD cage :)  I will make a "floor" over the HDD cage so that I can hide cables and it will get a clean look ;)

Here are some pictures (sorry for the bad quality, will take some HD photos in the future).

looks awesome dude! how come you didnt get a 200mm fan instead of 2 120's?

From what I understand 2x120mm pushes more air than one 200mm, or am I wrong?

And I realy like the Corsair fans with the colored rings ;)

since you will be going for an AIO in the roof i assume? you don't really need the extra 40mm ~ fan blade air unless you really want cool temps on your VRM and since the prodigy has vents on the side for your gpu, they will suffice, but i guess it will run quieter with more air being drawn in from the front.

TL;DR negligible performance difference probably equal sound from gpu + fan in difference from 2 fans and a gpu ;)

A 200mm fan moves around 3 times more air than a 120mm fan.

Another thing you could have done is color the inner or outer layer of the 200mm specre pros. ( yes they can be removed) :D
