Thread For Tech Quickie Video Suggestions

Checked your Techquickie vids on YouTube and didn't see anything for DLNA servers. Seeing that you recently did a video on Voyager 2 storage and mentioned PLEX, maybe you could talk about DLNA. I bought my XBone specifically for the use of connecting my Apple Time Capsule somehow through DLNA. I paid for plex recently and now the server doesn't connect due to technical issues beyond my comprehension (my Laptop is crap or plex just hates me)...this is irrelevant, yet I am still irritated bout it enough to mention it. Now if you could explain it so that my mom can understand it, that would be a feat indeed. :)

A video explaining how external video recorders work like the Odyssey7Q. I assume it does more than just being a big screen + slot for SSD's

3. Keep it simple! The idea here is to simplify computer concepts to the point where your mom can understand it. Not looking for "how to peel the ramspreaders off your memory"

Keeping this in mind, how about you do some videos that can help my mom?

Like, what Windows 8 Store Apps are and how she finds them, installs them and uses them. Basically how the tiles and so on work, how to arrange them.

The difference between ARM that runs in our phones and X86 that run in desktops and small tablets. An explanation as to why Windows 10 on phones with x86 could be very powerful when compared to iOS or Android on ARM.

Oh and last, but no means least: click bait.. Gawds she clicks it so much, no matter how many times I try to explain it.. She just replies: "It's a website, it has to be real".

He did talk about chipsets, but not about Z97 and X99 and why some are better for OC'ing and why some are not.

Yay, someone agrees with me :D
