My First PC Build :: Project Blu

Okay so the name was all made up for this topic, but it sounds cool.

This is my first PC build I did about 10 months ago and I know it is an old one but I am still very proud of it and want to think what the LTT (Long time watcher on YouTube, new member on forums) community thinks of it.

A bit of an inside look

 

My complete set-up right now with the PC

 

The one thing I regret is not buying an unlocked CPU but oh well.. I have learnt from my naivety. I tried doing a timelapse of me building it as well, worked out decently if any of you want to have a look here (I ended up making a lego stand for my Samsung Galaxy S3 to hold it in place). I was running the SSD as boot and the the two 2TB HDDs in RAID 1, few months after using it and building my Steam libary I bought another 2TB HDD and now I have the SSD for boot, one 2TB HDD for games and two 2TB HDDs created into one partition to store videos and music etc..

I have been trying to get my friends to want desktops over their laptops so I can build another PC, I can't afford to or have a reason to right now.

Try now, I had some trouble figuring out the system on the site but I got them uploaded through an album now

Nope. Just upload them to imgur and then insert as picture. That's what i do

yup, still no access ^^

 

EDIT: But it's fine. My resolution helps me quite a lot to see the detail lol, even in small pictures

Ah, must better! My OCD is tingling... Your heatsink is not straight Did you do it on purpose for airflow's sake?

My OCD was too after I looked at the picture, it is straight now.

I originally wanted all blue as I got my keyboard first and it was a Razer Lycrosa. But few months down the track I upgraded to mechanical and I knew which one I wanted but it only came in green. Besides that kind of green is hard to get in LED lights
