Over the last weeks I collected hardware to build to ultimate system from the year 2000! This build will be on events and festivals with AWESOMERETRO.COM

I only recently in the last 2 months or so, pulled out my IDE 200GB HDD, still works perfectly, but had to make way for bigger and better

PC: EVGA GTX680, i5 2500K, 8GB Kingston HyperX, Gigabyte Z68-GA-UD3P, 120GB OCZ SSD, 2x1TB WD Greens, Corsair 600t, Corsair AX750, Corsair H100i, ASUS MX239H, Corsair K60 + M60.

I still use an IDE optical drive lol.
I bought a cheap-ass USB cabinet for my IDE drives, they still serve me today as my 4th-removed backup solution. (Backup of the backup of the backup)

Yes this case is amazing! To bad that they doesnt have a newer version of this case :(

I leave my Voodoo5 running stock with the stock cooling. Why do you want to watercool it? :)

That case is really great, holds up very nicely to this day even.

That is so cool, I was thinking of doing a similar thing but with an Intel Pentium Pro, but I couldn't find any that didn't have pins bent or missing.

This is absolutely awesome. I love the case! it's so minimal and nice.  I wish Cooler Master still made stuff with this aesthetic :)  The build itself is fantastic as well. I love that blue fan on the CPU cooler :p and the cables are so well done!

Friends of me have serveral Pentium Pro chips! But they couldn't find any motherboards :(

I have my first pentium pro in a few weeks an old single cpu workstation. Another friend has it and he only needs to dig it out of his stack of old computers :P

Woha! How cool is that...i bet everyone back in the day running a Voodoo 5 was the king on every lan party :D

 

That thing was a beast... :)

 

What OS are you going to run on it? Win 98? Win 2000? Or even Linux? :D Hopefully you're not going to put XP on that lady...:P
