Wordpress Site eCommerce Plugin - MYOB integration/import - Open Source

Hey guys,

As per my other thread, I'll be designing a Wordpress Site soon. Eventually the site will need an e-Store. In the physical shop, the boss uses MYOB as their accounting/inventory/POS setup. It tracks the inventory, sets prices, etc.

Does anyone know of an eCommerce plugin for Wordpress that has MYOB integration built in?

If not, how about one that will allow me to use the MYOB Export features (Exports to csv) so I can just do a manual export from MYOB and then have the eCommerce plugin upload and import that file?

And finally, it needs to be FREE, or VERY CHEAP! Open Source is preferable. My boss is very cheap and doesn't want to spend anything to get this working. He's one of those people who knows just a little about computers, so they think that an IT guy can just "throw something together in 5 minutes" kind of thing.

Myob has a horrible online store.

If someone could make a word press store where it could be done 1 of 2 ways

1. Auto export your inventory/sales to the sight each day at 3am which will update quanties, prices what ever

2. Make the word press store, you export your items and then click on a button, select your export file and then it will automatically update. I am not sure about the picture of product part.

What could be done is:

Let's say you have: Sku: 5454455 Item: Widget

1. create a folder on your website: images

2. Take a photograph or save a photograph to your image folder as 5454455.jpg

3. In Myob you can now still upload that photo from the image folder but the photo is still uploaded to the net

The photo Id should be your sku number of the product

Every product should have a different sku number even if the same product but different sizes or color all have different sku numbers

4. I sent in a suggestion to MYOB that they should create a google Taxonomy code field, and an image code field so you could export to a google spreadsheet.

If someone could create a word press store that could do this I would pay $100 to buy this store.

I have 14000 products in my inventory and now I have to type in each one on my store that I have right now.

Haha well despite the fact that this is a massive thread necro, you make some good suggestions.

Fortunately for me, I left that job over a year ago for a much better, and much better paid one So I don't have to worry about it anymore. But I will mark it solved, as if I ever needed to solve that, I could probably make something work with your thoughts and suggestions.
